International Nurses Day 2021

May 12th marks International Nurses Day. 

This last year really would be nothing without frontline workers risking their lives every day to ensure essential services continued throughout the pandemic. Nurses have always been crucial to society, but the world has now seen first-hand how fundamental their role is.

They’ve been working tirelessly to contain the virus; without them, the world will never be able to recover.

May 12 was chosen for International Nurses Day because it coincides with the birth date of Florence Nightingale, perhaps the most famous nurse in history.

We are extremely grateful for all the nurses that have put their own safety on the line to help others.
